Why We Created the Residency Program

As our work and community have grown, so has our understanding of what practitioners need in order to offer their best work with presence and care.

We have spent time listening, reflecting, and observing how deeper continuity, clarity, and support can enhance both the practitioner experience and the journey of our guests.

The Practitioner Residency Program emerged from this process.

It was created to support long term collaboration, shared responsibility, and a consistent rhythm of work. The program provides a stable structure that allows practitioners to focus fully on their practice while contributing to a cohesive and grounded experience for those who enter the space.

This is not simply an operational shift. It is a considered step toward sustainability, clarity, and mutual growth, rooted in our values and the future we are building together.

Application and Intake Cycles

How the Residency Works

The Practitioner Residency Program offers a structured employment framework designed for long-term collaboration and practitioner wellbeing under a six-month renewable contract model.

Benefits include:

Full-time employment under a structured six-month contract term, renewable upon mutual agreement
Legal employment and residency support through an appointed Events Organisation, including KITAS and work permits
Clear and transparent working terms, schedules, and expectations
Stable income structure combining base salary and performance-based commission
Paid leave in accordance with employment terms
Duty meals or meal allowance during working days
Rental or housing support where applicable
Retention or completion bonuses for contract fulfilment
Centralised scheduling, bookings, and administrative support
Access to dedicated staff facilities and shared practitioner spaces (coming soon)
Opportunity for long-term professional growth within a consistent and aligned environment

Who We Are Looking For

Practitioner Alignment

The Residency Program is intentionally selective.

We are seeking practitioners who bring depth of training, lived experience, and a grounded facilitation presence. Integrity, responsibility, and ethical practice are essential. We value practitioners who are open to collaboration, shared standards, and ongoing dialogue.

This program is best suited for those interested in long term contribution and team based work within a coherent environment.

The Residency Program may not be suitable for practitioners seeking casual, freelance, or one off facilitation opportunities, space rental, or independently hosted programs. This clarity is intentional and supports the integrity of the experience for both practitioners and guests.

Residency positions are offered through limited intake cycles throughout the year, based on organisational capacity and program needs.

Applications are reviewed with care and consideration. The process may include an initial application review, follow up conversations or interviews, and observational or practical sessions where relevant.

Due to the curated and structured nature of the program, not all applications will progress to the next stage, and response times may vary depending on intake cycles.
