Cha Dao Tea Ceremony

Nourishment from the Fountain of Meditative Tea

Through mindful preparation, shared silence, and deep sensory awareness, tea becomes a meditative anchor, gently settling the mind and refining perception. Rooted in Zen simplicity and contemplative presence, the ceremony invites participants to slow down, attune to subtle sensation, and soften the nervous system.

The outcome is not stimulation, but harmonization, a return to steadiness, clarity, and embodied presence.

No prior tea or meditation experience is required, only a willingness to sit, receive, and be present. Please inform the facilitator if you are caffeine-sensitive. Gentle alternatives such as GABA or herbal tea may be offered.

Gentle Medicine for Modern Nervous Systems

This is a contemplative gathering rooted in the refined simplicity of Chinese Zen aesthetics and the presence of Buddhist mindfulness. Through the intentional preparation and sharing of well-aged sheng pu’er (20+ years), Taiwanese GABA tea, and carefully selected herbal infusions, the session invites deep energetic harmonization and gentle regulation of the nervous system.

Each pour becomes a meditation, an opportunity to slow down, attune to subtle sensation, and rest in awareness. Held primarily in silence, with minimal and thoughtful guidance, the ceremony offers a space to soften beyond mental activity and reconnect with a quieter inner rhythm.

As the nervous system softens and the pace of thought quiets, awareness becomes clearer and more spacious. What begins as tea becomes a practice of listening, to the body, to energy, to the quiet intelligence beneath mental activity. The outcome is not stimulation, but harmonization, a return to steadiness, clarity, and embodied presence.

It is designed for those seeking rest beyond the thinking mind, healing beyond technique, and a meditative experience that complements a day of sound healing, bodywork, or other therapeutic modalities.

No prior tea or meditation experience is required, only a willingness to sit, receive, and be present.

Meet your Facilitator

Revati

Revati is a practitioner and teacher of contemporary astrology, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, tea mastery, and contemplative practices rooted in Taoism and Mahayana Buddhism. With over two decades of dedicated spiritual inquiry and 13 years of professional practice, her work bridges clear insight with embodied healing, weaving together subtle awareness and practical integration.

Her path has been shaped not only by formal study and training, but also by lived experience, including a deep exploration of trauma, nervous system sensitivity, and the body’s innate intelligence. This lived understanding informs her gentle, grounded approach, which prioritizes safety, regulation, and sustainable integration over intensity or catharsis.

Revati’s work is rooted in the understanding that clarity arises naturally when the system feels supported. Through astrology, she offers perspective and meaningful orientation; through biodynamic craniosacral therapy, she supports the body’s inherent capacity for self-repair; through meditation and tea ceremony, she creates contemplative spaces where presence can unfold without force.

Across all modalities, her invitation is consistent, a practical return to presence, clarity, and inner stillness, not as an escape from daily life, but as something woven seamlessly into it.
